Country Head Pan_Masala(With & Without Tobacco)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to lead the establishment of our Gutka/Pan Masala brand in Bangladesh. This role requires exceptional entrepreneurial skills to set up and develop the brand from the ground up. The selected candidate will be responsible for building a robust distribution network, overseeing factory setup, and ensuring that the product is manufactured and marketed as per the parent companys brand formula and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Market Penetration & Distribution Setup:

• Conduct market research to understand demand, competition, and regulatory landscape in Bangladesh.
• Identify and onboard distributors, wholesalers, and retailers for brand placement.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to establish brand presence.
• Manage pricing, promotions, and placement strategies to maximize market share.

Factory Setup & Manufacturing Operations:

• Identify and finalize the factory location for product assembly and packaging.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding manufacturing and distribution.
• Oversee procurement and setup of machinery, equipment, and workforce for production.
• Work closely with the parent company to receive and implement the supplied formula, raw materials, and packaging design.
• Ensure strict quality control to maintain brand consistency and adherence to specifications.

Business Operations & Compliance:

• Liaise with local government authorities to obtain necessary licenses and permits.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Develop a strong local team as operations scale up.
• Maintain regular communication with the parent company, providing updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Understanding of local business laws, regulations, and compliance

Preferred Criteria

• Candidates must know Bengali, English and Hindi.
• Prior experience in a FMCG/ Tobacco/ Confectionery sector is highly desirable.
• Experience in factory setup and production management is highly desirable
