Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the newly formed Project Management group. It provides a unique opportunity for the candidate to setup new processes and be the torchbearer of upcoming culture in the company. The hired candidate will have flexibility to establish new operational models and innovate for higher cost efficiency. The candidate will have to do groundwork by visiting vendors in the field. This is not a desk based software project management.

Requirements

• The successful candidate will be the driving force behind every aspect of the project, from defining the scope and deliverables to managing communications, risks, and issues.
• In collaboration with a team of experts from operations, sales, and services, the PgM will take ownership of the project, ensuring that it meets the schedule, quality, and financial objectives.
• As the responsible individual, you will also have the opportunity to play a crucial role in determining project costing and driving focused business growth.
• Utilizing your exceptional data analytics skills, you will be able to identify cost variances and profitability risks, allowing for effective management of manpower and resources.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for nurturing and managing customer relationships, while continuously monitoring project profitability.
• In the event of projected or unexpected variances in schedule, scope, or budget, you will be expected to take prompt corrective action.
• Coordinating activities across various client and company stakeholders will also be a key responsibility, allowing for successful project delivery.
• Furthermore, your proactive approach will involve actively seeking new opportunities with the customer that drive profitable revenue growth.
• By actively managing the Project Plan and enforcing change control management, you will be instrumental in ensuring project success.
• Effectively managing project issues and risks, including escalations as necessary, will also be part of your role, in collaboration with the Region Partner.
• In line with global requirements, you will contribute to hiring, training, mentoring, and developing relatively junior project leads/managers, with the goal of strengthening Project Management competency in India.
