Civil Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Create detailed Gantt charts to map out the entire project timeline, clearly stating start

and end dates for each phase of the project.

2. Need to prepare a comprehensive budget that covers all aspects of the project, including

materials, labor, equipment or any other overhead costs.

3. Should be able to negotiate small, medium and bulk purchase agreements with vendors

to obtain materials at reduced costs

4. Should also ensure timely delivery and also ensure quality

5. Should be able to draft and negotiate clear contracts that outline the scope of work,

timelines, payment terms

6. Regularly review the project schedule and identify any potential issues or delays.

Common issues include delayed material deliveries, labor shortages, and not good on-

site conditions (due to weather). In that case, the candidate need to schedule the work accordingly.

7. He needs to hold regular on-site meetings with civil engineers, supervisors, and other

key personnel to review progress, address challenges.

8. Should also Implement a system for continuous monitoring of work progress, including

daily or weekly reports from supervisors.

9. Even for non-meetings, candidate should have regular site visits to personally inspect

the quality of work.

10. Maintain comprehensive records of all project-related documents.

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should be flexible to travel to all seven branches of Vignan Schools in Hyderabad (Nizampet, Kondapur, Madhinaguda, Patencheru, ECIL, Medchal, and Ghatkesar) at any given point in time.
