VIBS Infosol - Cloud Security Engineer (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, manage, and monitor security solutions using the Microsoft Defender suite, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).

- Configure and enforce secure configurations of cloud assets and infrastructure in Azure, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.

- Integrate security measures into Azure DevOps pipelines and ensure secure DevOps practices are followed across development, testing, and deployment phases.

- Continuously monitor security operations and incidents, including reviewing logs and responding to alerts through tools like Azure Sentinel, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.

- Write and maintain scripts for automation and security operations using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

- Work with the team to establish, update, and enforce security policies and procedures related to cloud security and DevOps.

- Support and drive the adoption of security best practices, ensuring that the security posture of cloud environments is continually improved.

- Perform daily and monthly status reporting to leadership, ensuring alignment with security goals and objectives.

- Collaborate closely with the security operations center (SOC) and other cybersecurity teams to provide comprehensive protection to enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.

- Ensure secure management of cloud resources, identifying and mitigating security risks proactively.

Candidate Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Certifications in Cybersecurity (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent) would be advantageous.

- The candidate should be self-motivated, technically confident, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across global teams and report effectively to leadership.

- A passion for cloud cybersecurity, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
