Product Costing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Supporting Sales, Application Team and Controlling by providing product costing and profitability data throughout the product life cycle.

• Ability to collaborate in Quoting team with Sales, Application Team, Purchasing, Product and Process Engineering.
• Request quotations from Purchasing, analyze and verify supplier details (component and tooling related).
• Request manufacturing details from Process Engineering, analyze and verify feedback.
• Create cost calculation during RFQ and change management process and verify for accuracy.
• Support Management with business case related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Support.
• Controlling by providing project financials Plant visits to analyze actual labor, material and overhead costs against cost breakdown Collaboration with Tech Centers and plants.

Preferred candidate profile

Finance, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background is preferred

Professional product costing calculation software experience such as FACTON or TcPCM is preferred.

Good command in English language
