Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive / Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager / Sales Head
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose:
The Sales Executive / Sales Manager will drive sales by building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and providing clients with tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will be motivated, results-driven, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:


1. New Business Development:

  • Actively generate leads and prospect for new clients via phone calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Identify business opportunities within your assigned territory or market segment.
  • Develop a strong pipeline and convert leads into clients.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer insurance products that best suit them.
  • Provide exceptional service, handling any client queries or issues promptly.

3. Sales Presentations & Negotiations:

  • Conduct presentations and meetings with potential clients to discuss insurance options.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to close sales and meet targets.

4. Sales Targets:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong focus on achieving sales growth and improving client acquisition.

5. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest insurance products, trends, and market conditions.
  • Educate clients on the benefits and features of different insurance products.

6. Reporting & Administration:

  • Record and update all sales activities in CRM software.
  • Provide regular sales reports to management, outlining performance and sales trends.


Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum 1-5 years in sales, preferably in insurance services is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and prospects effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Microsoft Office applications.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
