Engineer - MEP

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer with 10+ years of experience to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all MEP systems are integrated seamlessly, adhere to quality standards, and meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise the installation of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP designs align with project goals.
• Prepare and review MEP design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies for MEP systems.
• Monitor on-site MEP activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, codes, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve design or operational issues related to MEP systems during construction.
• Manage procurement processes for MEP materials and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure timely completion of MEP installations while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
• Document progress, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, preparing reports for stakeholders.
• Implement energy-efficient and sustainable solutions for MEP installations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in design and project management tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of MEP standards, codes, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale warehouse or industrial construction projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with green building certifications and sustainability standards.

Work Environment:

• Predominantly on-site with occasional office work for documentation and coordination.
