Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical systems comply with safety, quality, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communication networks.
• Develop electrical plans, drawings, and specifications in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct load calculations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the project.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with codes.
• Manage procurement and inventory of electrical materials and equipment.
• Monitor the progress of electrical works and address technical or operational issues.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including test reports, manuals, and compliance certificates.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards during all project phases.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for construction projects.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of power systems, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in warehouse or industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient and renewable energy solutions.

Work Environment:

• Primarily on-site at construction locations with occasional office-based work.
