Job Description

Primary Purpose: Responsible for leading the organizational effort in Business Development for the Zones in terms of Student Acquisitions, City/State Marketing.


Key Accountabilities/Activities:


Primary responsibilities:


Zone Management:

  • Responsible for achievement of pre decided business plans with regards to student acquisition for the zone.
  • Implement & monitor lead generation initiatives to ensure that they are carried out effectively and in line with the set timelines.
  • Implement the marketing calendar and monitor the same to ensure that targets are achieved as decided.
  • Track the effectiveness of the marketing activities so that changes can be made as per the data analysis.
  • Provide consumer insights so that action plans can be devised upon the same.
  • Support the Zone & School in marketing initiatives & Marcom to ensure smooth functioning within the department.
  • Lead team of Relationship Executives & Relationship Officers to ensure that the set objectives are achieved.
  • Tracking and Analyzing competition by getting information, marketing initiatives, marketing spends, strength, Marcom, Etc.
  • Broadly validate the funnel from enquiry to admission stage and report discrepancies, if any.
  • Monitor ROI on Marketing spends for Zone to bring about efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Relations:

Internal:

  • Interfacing with Finance, Technology, HR for any people or any other operational issue/s.
  • Interfacing with all service level heads, Centre and zonal sales leads, relationship management team, and brand management team, based out of CO/ZO as well as other Centers/Schools.
  • Interfacing with Academics management (Principals and coordinators), content management teams and centre/Zonal Administration teams on service offerings and center specific elements elements.
  • Interfacing with, SEO and internal web development teams of for all website and media management operational elements.

External:

  • Interface with potential and existing customers.
  • Interface with external vendors/ SEO operators/ Content management/Web management/ PR and Brand management agencies for all elements pertaining to the execution of the sales and marketing strategy.
  • The leading brands for proposals & alliances for cross selling & tie ups with Vibgyor.

Span of Control:

  • Relationship Officer, Relationship Executives & Academic Counselor of the assigned Centres of the Zone.


Qualification:

  • MBA/MMM/PGDBM/PGDBA / Masters in Marketing.


Experience:

Minimum 5 - 6 Yrs, primarily in Marketing, preferably in the Education Space.

  • Proven research and analytical skills ability to make recommendations based on information
  • Gathered and sound judgment. Sharp analytical capabilities, around data interpretation, analyzing situations and driving actions most suited to achieve high impact outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high growth and dynamic business environment. Ability to deal with ambiguity, understand business.
  • High focus on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills ability to drive consensus in decision making, especially in conflicting situations.
  • Demonstrate ability for successful event management & managing strategic alliances.
  • Effective Presentation skills.
  • High Proficiency in Ms. Excel and Power point skills.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Good with People management
  • Pro-active, self motivated and self directed.
  • Good Negotiation, Interpersonal & Cost Optimization skills.
  • Adept to work in a fast paced business environment and deliver within tight deadlines
