Manager - Finance & Accounts (Direct Tax)

Key Accountabilities/Activities:

• Evaluating and assisting in implementing tax strategy
• Explore areas of tax optimization and planning opportunities. Timely identification of any DT risk and ways to streamline the same
• Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Group
• Managing all direct tax compliances & litigation for the Group
• Handling all reporting and filings for the Group
• Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates, reports, accruals, assets, and liabilities for notices
• Dealing with Tax and other related Government offices for efficient discharge of tax responsibilities
• Keep track of changes in DT laws and related rules, notification, circulars, case laws, etc. to keep the compliances up-to date
• Track and provide the list of contingent liabilities / tax provisions

Competencies Required for the role:

• Knowledge of Direct Tax
• Good analytical skills
• Good control over Microsoft excels
• Well versed with various ERPs including Tally, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle etc.
• Good communication skills
• Team player as well mature team leader
• Relationship development skills

Qualification:

• CA with 7-10 years of experience in managing Direct Taxation
