Primary Purpose:

Hiring a skilled in-house architect is essential for establishing our infra PMO as a self-reliant, innovative, and client-focused entity. An in-house architect will bridge the gap between conceptual vision and technical execution, ensuring seamless integration of design excellence with cost-efficient and sustainable solutions tailored to high-rise school infrastructure and large-scale projects. Their expertise will streamline the process of creating detailed drawings, BOQs, and compliance documentation, reducing dependency on external consultants and accelerating project timelines. By having an architect embedded within our team, we will enhance coordination, maintain tighter quality control, and position our PMO as a comprehensive service provider capable of delivering cutting-edge designs aligned with client aspirations and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Conceptual Design: Develop innovative design concepts for school infrastructure and high-rise projects, aligning with client requirements, regulatory guidelines, and PMO
• goals.
• Detailed Drawings & Models: Create architectural drawings, 3D models, and layouts
• using advanced CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• BOQs & Estimation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and
• material specifications in coordination with the procurement and contracts teams.
• Technical Coordination: Work closely with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of architectural and engineering
• designs.
• Compliance & Approvals: Ensure designs comply with local building codes, fire safety norms, and environmental standards. Facilitate the approval process with relevant
• authorities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to communicate design intent and resolve issues
• during execution.
• Value Engineering: Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to optimize project
• designs without compromising on quality or functionality.
• Site Visits & Audits: Conduct periodic site visits to ensure adherence to architectural
• plans and resolve on-site challenges.
• Sustainability Practices: Incorporate green building principles and energy-efficient designs where applicable.

Competencies Required for the Role:

• Strong ability to conceptualize and create innovative architectural designs for
• institutional and high-rise projects.
• Proficiency in drafting detailed drawings, 3D models, and layouts using software like
• AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Expertise in rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray) for producing high-quality visualizations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, NBC, IS codes, and fire safety norms.
• Proficiency in preparing BOQs, cost estimations, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with high-rise construction techniques and materials.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and external
• consultants.
• Strong coordination capabilities with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project
• managers.
• Ability to present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback seamlessly.

Qualification:

• Educational Background: Bachelors or masters degree in architecture (B.Arch./M.Arch.) from a reputed institution.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray). Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of local building codes, NBC, IS Codes, and fire safety norms.

Experience:

• 58 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of institutional (e.g., schools) and high-rise projects.
