Construction Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of a warehouse construction project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, with at least 14+ years of experience in the industry. Prior experience in warehouse construction is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage all construction activities specific to warehouse projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Lead and coordinate on-site personnel, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Review and approve project drawings, blueprints, and technical plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to track progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders effectively.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to meet project requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely completion of deliverables within the agreed timeline.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in construction management, with a strong preference for experience in warehouse projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience specifically in warehouse construction projects will be a significant advantage.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, Primavera, or other construction planning tools.
