Content Editor - News/Financial Editing

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Editor with a strong background in news and financial editing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and quality of content related to financial news, reports, and market trends. Youll work closely with journalists, writers, and subject matter experts to produce content that is informative, engaging, and aligned with our editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread financial and news content for clarity, grammar, style, and consistency.
• Ensure that content is factually accurate and well-researched, adhering to financial and journalistic standards.
• Coordinate with writers to refine content, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining editorial quality.
• Monitor financial markets and news to stay updated on trends and developments that impact content creation.
• Ensure adherence to brand voice and style guides across all written material.
• Collaborate with content strategists and editorial teams to develop content plans and editorial calendars.
• Ensure SEO optimization for web content, improving visibility and engagement.
• Review content for potential legal and compliance issues in financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Content Editor, with a strong background in news and financial editing (minimum 5 years of experience).
• Excellent understanding of financial markets, terminology, and trends.
• Strong editorial skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and online content strategy.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
