Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Copy Editor with exceptional English language skills to maintain editorial quality across our content. The candidate should possess strong editing and proofreading abilities, and ensure all materials are aligned with the organizations standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Senior Editor in editing and proofreading content for grammar, style, and tone.

- Utilize strong English language skills to enhance clarity and coherence across all content.

- Collaborate with writers and content creators to refine the content structure.

- Conduct thorough fact-checking.

- Support the Senior Editor in managing the editorial calendar and meeting deadlines.

- Provide feedback to writers, helping them improve quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

- 4-6 years of experience in copy editing.

- Understanding of video-to-text writing format.

- Familiarity with editorial style guides such as AP, Chicago, etc.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital editing tools.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines.

- SEO-driven content editing is a plus.
