Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to establish and oversee all aspects of human resources within our growing company of 40 employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to address our current challenges, support our future growth, and manage our recruitment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain a comprehensive HR system for record-keeping, including employee files, attendance, and performance evaluations.
2. Efficiently implement expense tracking and reimbursement process.
3. Create and manage a streamlined payroll system, ensuring accurate and timely salary calculations and disbursements.
4. Design and implement HR policies and procedures, including an employee handbook.
5. Establish a formal grievance process to address employee complaints and concerns.
6. Lead the full recruitment cycle:
- Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
- Post job openings on appropriate platforms
- Screen resumes and applications
- Conduct initial candidate assessments
- Schedule preliminary interviews
7. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
8. Manage employee benefits administration and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
9. Analyze turnover rates and develop retention strategies to address staff shortages.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a small to medium-sized business.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle field workers and blue collared staff.
- Experience in implementing HR systems and processes from scratch.
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with HR software, applicant tracking systems, and payroll systems.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
