Engineer III - DevOps

What you will be doing

We seek a highly skilled and self-driven AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing cloud infrastructure, developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing Helm charts, and building robust CI/CD pipelines. The role demands a professional with hands-on experience, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and Lambda.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automated provisioning and configuration.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for cloud-based systems.

Kubernetes & Helm Charts:

• Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes to automate application deployments.
• Perform regular upgrades and manage Helm repositories.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Code Pipeline, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate and streamline the software delivery process to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

System Maintenance & Upgrades:

• Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades for infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues promptly.

Collaboration & Best Practices:

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Promote best practices in automation, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and operational processes.
• Prepare regular reports on system performance, updates, and future improvement plans.

What were looking for:

Youll need to have:

• Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of hands-on experience in a DevOps.
• Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and managing Helm charts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash) and version control tools (Git).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Certification(s) in AWS, Azure, or relevant cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Azure services and multi-cloud environments is an advantage.
• Experience in containerization tools such as Docker.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
