What you will be doing...

As an Engineer III Specialist for the Video Product backend services team, you will be responsible for the delivery of highly scalable backend services for video products for Set-Top-Box, Mobile, and Web Clients. You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality products and services. You will partner with the onshore development team & business teams to establish goals, influence and effectively communicate/execute the vision set by the leadership team.

Design and Development of platform software architecture and vision for services.

Managing schedules/Team, be accountable and deliver projects on time in a fast paced agile environment.

Being passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions.

Developing 24x7 no downtime highly available video backend services in Production environment.

Contributing technically and own architectural oversight of system/services.

Creating an atmosphere of innovation for creating next generation services.

Working with Product Management and Operations to successfully deploy services.

Youll need to have:

Bachelors degree or three or more years of work experience.

Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Experience in developing Software projects/development teams.

Experience with performance tuning, scalability and availability.

Experience in the software development cycle.

Experience in Microsoft Technologies like .NET Core and .NET Frameworks

Very strong in Object oriented programming and design principles.

Hands experience in SQL Database,Writing stored procedures,Query optimization,Table designs

Experience in Unit Testing

Proven experience as a Front end developer

Extensive knowledge in developing applications in a single page (SPAs) using Angular framework

Experience in web design to create an optimal interface through programming languages like HTML, CSS, and Jav

ascript.

Expertise in troubleshooting, Code Optimization, Performance Tuning

Understanding of Agile methodologies

Excellent communications skills with the ability to work with other product / client teams and ability to work independently on complex tasks.

Mentor the junior team members and guide them to successfully deliver the project goals.

Demonstrated hands-on experience building products and deploying them to cloud platforms.

Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab etc.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Knowledge of Machine learning and Artificial intelligence.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Experience in a software product development environment.

Understanding of multi-threaded software development.

Understanding of information security.

Understanding of database systems.

Understanding of AWS Cloud architecture, tools and techniques.
