Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification.

- Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.

- Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments.

- Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes.

- Familiarity with templating in C++.

- Knowledge of RESTful principles and best practices, also experience with Dragon Framework.

- Good to have Websocket & Multicast.

- System Architecture & Design : Ability to design a system from scratch. Familiar with microservices and sharding architecture.

- Cloud Computing Platforms : Proficiency in deploying, managing, and optimising cloud infrastructure on platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.

- Web Servers and Proxies : Knowledge of configuring and optimising web servers like NGINX for load balancing, reverse proxying, and caching, to enhance the performance and security of web applications and APIs.

- Asynchronous Programming and Messaging : Experience with asynchronous programming techniques and message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka, for handling background tasks, event-driven processing, and inter-service communication.

- Security Best Practices : Understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, access controls, authentication, and authorisation, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Version Control Systems : Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code management, collaboration, and deployment, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts effectively.

- Troubleshooting and Debugging : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues efficiently, utilising debugging tools, log analysis, and performance monitoring solutions.
