About the Job:
- The mission of the Assistant Finance Manager is to be instrumental in driving the financial integrity of the company.
- The incumbent of this role focus on key financial areas including accounting, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Your Impact:
Financial Compliance & Controls:
- Assist in developing and implementing internal controls within the Finance and Accounts department.
- Support the preparation and timely filing of tax returns, including TDS, GST, and income tax.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Auditing:
- Participate in internal and external audits to verify accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with auditors for Statutory and Tax audits as required.
Financial Reporting:
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Perform reconciliations of ledger accounts, including bank accounts, receivables, and payables.
Bookkeeping & Systems:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Netsuite or similar platforms.
- Review transactions and bills related to projects, purchases, and sales to ensure accuracy.
Cash Flow & Analysis:
- Assist in cash flow management and reporting to optimize liquidity.
- Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and provide insights for improvement.
Financial planning and analysis:
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support decision-making.
- Providing commercial insight and analysis of results, and identifying underlying trends.
- Identifying and reporting KPIs that are linked to company strategy.
Liaison & Support:
- Serve as a point of contact with banks, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide support to internal teams on financial performance and queries.
What you bring to the table:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e., SAP, QuickBooks, Netsuite).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
