SAP Data Migration Consultant - ECC & S/4 HANA Implementation (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless data transfer from legacy systems to SAP, utilizing tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC), LSMW, and SAP Data Services (BODS). This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to contribute to significant SAP S/4HANA projects.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute data migration plans for SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC projects.

- Define data migration scope, timelines, and deliverables.

- Conduct data assessments and gap analysis.

- Extract data from legacy systems using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Transform data according to SAP requirements and business rules.

- Load data into SAP systems using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC), LSMW, and SAP BODS.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes and documentation.

- Utilize SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC) for data migration in SAP S/4HANA projects.

- Develop and maintain LSMW scripts for data migration in SAP ECC projects.

- Design and develop data migration jobs using SAP BODS.

- Perform data cleansing, validation, and enrichment using BODS.

- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

- Develop and execute test plans for data migration.

- Resolve data migration issues and discrepancies.

- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather data requirements and resolve issues.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.

- Document data migration processes and procedures.

- Utilize SQL and/or ABAP for data extractions.

- Utilize scripting languages as needed.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration for SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC), LSMW, and SAP BODS.

- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data transformation, and validation techniques.

- Proficiency in SQL, ABAP (for data extraction), or other scripting languages.

- Understanding of SAP master data and transactional data objects (Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, HR, Finance, etc.).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration with business and IT teams.

- Ability to work independently and manage data migration projects efficiently.
