Technical Project Lead I (10-12 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Technical Project Lead to join our team in Ernakulam or Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in leading complex technical projects, with a strong background in project management, Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, and data technologies. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects successfully, while managing a team of 10-15 resources and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Ensure projects are completed within budget and meet client expectations.

- Lead and manage a team of 10-15 technical resources across multiple projects.

- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, and monitor their performance.

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

- Manage resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.

- Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction.

- Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports.

- Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies as per project needs.

- Utilize project management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, Trello, and Asana.

Work with data technologies including :

- Databases : MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle

- ETL Tools : SSIS, ADF, Informatica

- Scripting Languages : Python, Shell, Batch, PowerShell

- Visualization Tools : Power BI, Tableau, SSRS

- Demonstrate familiarity with KAPPA/LAMBDA/Lakehouse architecture and cloud platforms AWS and Azure.

- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Proven track record of leading at least 3 end-to-end projects.

- Strong ability to analyze challenges and implement effective solutions.

- Ability to track risks, forecasts, and financials effectively.

- Experience managing technical teams to execute complex projects.

- Strong ability to liaise with clients, internal teams, and senior management.

- Adherence to organizational policies and security guidelines.

- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Project Management certifications (PMP, Agile).

- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure).

- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence.

- Experience with DevOps practices.
