Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Golang Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building high-performance and scalable systems using Golang, a strong background in PostgreSQL for database management, and experience working with AWS cloud services. You will play a key role in designing and developing backend services and applications that support our business growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems using Golang.
• Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code in accordance with best practices.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for various applications.
• Database Management:
• Utilize PostgreSQL to manage, optimize, and scale relational databases for large datasets.
• Write complex queries and optimize database performance.
• Cloud Services Integration:
• Design and deploy services on AWS, leveraging technologies such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and others.
• Manage serverless applications and databases in a cloud environment.
• System Architecture & Performance:
• Work with cross-functional teams to architect reliable and maintainable systems.
• Optimize application performance, including latency and resource usage, while scaling.
• Collaboration & Code Reviews:
• Collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and designers to build new features and optimize existing ones.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to building a strong development culture.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system issues promptly.
• Maintain and improve existing software systems.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Golang: Strong experience in backend development using Golang, including writing efficient, concurrent, and scalable code.
• PostgreSQL: Proficient in PostgreSQL, including database design, complex query writing, and performance optimization.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and other relevant services.
• API Development: Strong knowledge in designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Microservices: Experience with microservices architecture and managing distributed systems.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
