Deputy Manager/Manager - EHS

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants for ESR DD, ESIA, Bird Bat studies, etc.
• Collaborate with Finance & Projects teams for timely completion of studies.
• Implement ESMS in Wind & Solar businesses (construction and O&M).
• Lead, schedule, and conduct ESMS audits.
• Maintain ESMS-related documentation.
• Conduct training for employees and contractors on ESMS awareness.
• Facilitate meetings with consultants and investors to ensure ESMS compliance.
• Develop and align ESG goals for the business.
• Coordinate environmental and social initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the ESG management system.
• Advise EHS Head on ESG-related laws, regulations, and compliance monitoring.
• Qualifications:
• Post-Graduation in Environment Science / Engineering
• At least 8 + years experience in relevant industry and 4+ years experience in ESMS consultancy services or as ESMS officer
• Familiar with IFC 8 Performance standards
• Familiar with Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
• Skills/Attributes:
• Strong technical knowledge in Environment & Social Management System
• Must have worked with any of the organization SGS / ERM / Ramboll / Jacobs / AIECOM, etc
• Communication and Writing skills in framing / developing ESMs Documents
• Proficient in use of MS officer (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc) to produce professional looking documents
• Teamwork and collaboration for a better implementation of IMS systems.
