Vegrow focuses on matchmaking across demand and supply for fruits, aggregating multiple channels (wholesalers/semi-wholesalers, modern trade, and general trade) in 100 cities on the demand side and 30,000+ farmers on the supply side. Through its unique community advisory approach, Vegrow digitally engages with farmers across 400+ production pockets and helps them align with market expectations and get better yield, thereby higher income. Job Description: Training Manager
Position Overview: A Training Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing training programs within an organization. They work closely with various departments to identify training needs, develop effective training materials, and deliver or coordinate training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Needs Assessment:
- Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.
- Analyze performance data and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Training Program Development:
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and handouts.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
Training Delivery:
- Deliver training sessions or coordinate with external trainers.
- Facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences.
- Monitor participant engagement and provide feedback.
Training Evaluation:
- Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Analyze evaluation data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
Employee Development:
- Create and manage employee development plans.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees.
- Identify and support high-potential employees.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the training budget.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Track expenses and ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant training regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's / Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training or a related field.
- Advanced certification in Training & Development will be preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Process Training / Product Training / Training Management & Governance role
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in training and development.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate training sessions.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with online learning platforms and technologies.
- Knowledge of performance management and employee engagement strategies.
