Trade /Chartering Manager- Dry Bulk

Brokering between suppliers and a large and broad customer base, using their developed customer network.

Finding and fixing vessels and cargoes between owners, operators and charterers

Maintaining a smooth dialogue with owners and charterers

Drafting charter parties and fixture notes

Solving any issues relating to the fixture concluded

Co-ordinating with agents, post fixture desk of owns/charterers and other brokers

Local and international business development and fact finding to increase company profile and build on existing and new relations with prospective clients

Requirements:

Traders are welcome to apply.

An existing network of clients that they can bring to the desk.

Having an in-depth knowledge of the broking markets and offering market views to prospective and current clients.

3+ years of broking experience.

Excellent communication and research skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

The ability to understand and quickly analyses complex information.

Experience and knowledge of their market section.

The role requires a commercial-minded, driven individual who has experience directly in a front-office or mid-office role. Some of the responsibilities also include working with clients and external contacts
