Job Summary:

The trade analyst is responsible for managing the trading of RoDTEP scrips (duty credit certificates) in compliance with DGFT regulations. The role involves coordinating with exporters, buyers, and traders for the sale and purchase of RoDTEP scrips, ensuring optimal pricing, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. RoDTEP Scrip Trading & Transactions:

• Facilitate the buying and selling of RoDTEP scrips in the open market.
• Negotiate and finalize deals with buyers and sellers for maximum value.
• Ensure compliance with DGFT rules regarding the transfer of RoDTEP benefits.

2. Market Research & Pricing Strategy:

• Analyze market trends to determine the best pricing strategies for scrip trading.
• Track demand and supply dynamics for RoDTEP scrips.
• Maintain relationships with traders, exporters, and brokers for efficient trading.

3. Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure proper documentation for RoDTEP scrip transfers.
• Maintain records of transactions, agreements, and approvals.
• Stay updated on DGFT and customs regulations affecting RoDTEP trading.

4. Coordination & Liaison:

• Coordinate with exporters to facilitate the smooth transfer of RoDTEP scrips.
• Work with DGFT offices and customs authorities for compliance-related matters.
• Assist finance teams in reconciliation and reporting of RoDTEP credits.

5. Reporting & Analysis:

• Generate reports on RoDTEP trading activities and revenue generated.
• Monitor policy changes that impact the RoDTEP trading process.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in scrip trading.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or related fields.
• Certification in Export-Import Management (preferred).

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of DGFT regulations and RoDTEP trading guidelines.
• Experience with ICEGATE, DGFT portals, and customs documentation.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and trading platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and ensure timely execution.
