You will work as part of the team and be responsible for the development, configuration, build and support of our Students Records Systems. This may include the rollout of new applications and support existing applications across the operations.
You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring that the Student Information Systems deliverables with organisational needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to make use of operational understanding to determine and deploy an approach to the build
Providing user support: Help with troubleshooting issues relating to business systems.
Assist in designing and implementing efficient architecture, integrated applications, business solutions and automation.
Lead and develop solutions related to student and administration services. Some of which include SITS Evision etc.
Review and test new systems functionality as released through projects, upgrades and software updates.
Collaborate with team to assist in the development and maintenance of interfaces, including data mapping and cleansing.
Produce system documentation to ensure end-to-end business processes are fully understood and documented.
To undertake other duties that may be reasonably requested as appropriate to the service rendered.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Extensive experience working with Tribal SITS and other student administration systems.
Excellent Evision development, testing and deployment skills
Should possess excellent problem-solving abilities and handling complex codes.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Experience of working within UK Higher Education Institution.
Proven track record of developing highly effective systems using HTML, CSS and Java. Strong understanding of the T-SQL programming language.
