Lead Pipeline Engineer

VCS is looking for Pipeline Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. He / She should have minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry and able to lead a team of piping engineers and designers, ensuring that piping layouts, specifications, and materials meet project requirements and industry standards

Job description

• As a Pipeline Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, engineering, and implementation of piping systems in various industrial projects, such as oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, power plants, and manufacturing plants
• Develop piping layouts, isometric drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards (eg, ASME, API, ASTM)
• Review and approve piping designs, calculations, and documentation prepared by the engineering team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements
• You'll oversee a team of piping/pipeline engineers and designers, ensuring that piping layouts, specifications, and materials meet project requirements and industry standards
• Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of complex engineering projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process, mechanical, civil, structural and E&I disciplines.
• Manage and review design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material procurement and construction.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards governing piping/pipeline design, fabrication, and installation, such as ASME B313, API 570, and ANSI/ASME B16
