Job Description
Job Description:
- Extensive experience in development of web applications using the following technologies - ASP.NET Webforms, VB.NET, SQL Server 2016 or higher
- Good understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
- Experience in using 3rd party controls like DevExpress, Telerik etc.
- Experience in XML file manipulation using VB.NET
- Extensive experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes - RDBMS Concepts, Data Structures, Optimization Techniques, SQL queries, Indexes, views, Functions, Triggers, Transactions
- Extensive experience in developing WCF/Web Services
- Good knowledge on Web-based security concepts and session management
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of source code management tools like TFS, MSBuild etc.
- Experience in Financial Services domain (Preferably Australia) is an added advantage
- Stakeholder management skills, ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical teams and be able to present to senior stakeholders
- Experience using JIRA/Confluence
