Business Development Associate - Currency Exchange

About the Role:

As a Currency Exchange Business Development Associate (BDA), you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the companys presence in the foreign exchange and currency trading market. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

1. Identify and approach potential clients (individuals, corporates, or institutions) requiring currency exchange or forex trading services.

2. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth.

3. Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive customer acquisition.

Client Relationship Management:

1.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their forex needs and providing customized solutions.

2. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Market Research & Analysis:

1. Monitor currency markets, trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.

2. Provide insights on pricing strategies and new product offerings based on market analysis.

3. Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all transactions and client interactions.

4.Maintain updated knowledge of RBI and FEMA guidelines related to currency exchange.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 13 years in business development, sales, or the forex/currency exchange industry

Preferred Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs.

Analytical skills to understand market trends and customer needs.

Knowledge of forex products, exchange rates, and regulations.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and financial software is a plus.
