Business Development Specialist

About the Role

As a Counsellor (Business Development Specialist), you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to students on all aspects of accommodation abroad, with a particular focus on securing appropriate and comfortable housing.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist students in understanding different types of housing arrangements, such as university dormitories and private rentals.
• Research and identify suitable accommodation options based on students' preferences, budget, and location.
• Collaborate with accommodation providers, real estate agents, and university housing offices to secure housing for students.
• Assist students with accommodation applications, lease agreements, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate with the Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Prepare students for living abroad by providing information on housing regulations, safety tips, and cultural considerations.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns students may encounter with their accommodation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in student counselling, study abroad advising, or a similar role with a focus on accommodation.
• Strong knowledge of accommodation options for international students and related processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and accommodation providers.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
