Job Description

Summary:

As a Software Engineer (Data Visualization), you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge reporting solutions using SSRS and Snowflake. You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and product owners to ensure that our BI solutions align with business needs and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement complex SSRS-based reporting solutions, including proofs of concept and pilots. SQL Server is MUST
Define and execute BI solutions that address product use cases and business requirements.
Scope and plan BI projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain semantic models and BI access layers in Snowflake.
Develop high-performance Snowflake models and stored procedures to handle large datasets.
Publish and manage reports using SQL Reporting Services.
Implement and support Power BI solutions in an Agile environment.
Provide global support for Power BI, reporting, and database deployments.
Identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-2 years of hands-on experience with SSRS, Snowflake and ETL/DB.
Working experience with Power BI report builder.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases. SQL Server preferred
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modelling and OLAP.
Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with programming languages like Python/Java/.NET.
Snowflake and Power BI certifications are a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Azure data stack is preferred.
