About the Role:
- We are seeking a results-driven SEO Manager to join our marketing team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance online visibility.
- As the SEO Manager, you will lead the SEO efforts, analyze performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on both on-page and off-page optimization to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Keyword Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-impact search terms, analyze trends, and optimize content for relevant keywords to increase organic search visibility.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, URL structures, images, and internal linking to improve on-page SEO and enhance the user experience.
- Technical SEO: Oversee and manage technical SEO tasks such as site audits, crawl error analysis, page speed optimization, mobile optimization, and ensuring the site's technical health.
- Content Strategy & Optimization: Work closely with content teams to develop SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, landing pages, articles, and product descriptions, ensuring that content is both high-quality and optimized for search engines.
- Link Building: Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic search rankings.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for high-quality backlinks.
- SEO Performance Tracking & Reporting: Regularly monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
- Provide actionable insights and reports on traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' SEO strategies and performance to identify opportunities for improvement and areas of competitive advantage.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, content, development, and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital marketing initiatives and website development processes.
- SEO Training & Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on SEO principles and strategies.
- A/B Testing & Conversion Optimization: Work with the conversion rate optimization (CRO) team to test and optimize landing pages, ensuring that SEO efforts also drive higher conversion rates and engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in SEO, including hands-on experience with technical SEO, content optimization, and link building strategies.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- SEO Expertise: In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices (on-page, off-page, and technical).
- SEO Tools: Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc., for keyword research, site audits, and performance tracking.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture; ability to communicate technical SEO issues and solutions with web development teams.
- Content Optimization: Strong understanding of content optimization techniques, keyword targeting, and creating engaging, SEO-friendly content.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret website traffic data, rankings, and other SEO metrics to derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present SEO strategies, results, and insights to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry shifts.
