We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer to join our growing team.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications by designing, developing, and executing automated tests for both native mobile apps and mobile browsers.

This role requires a strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies, proficiency in Java, and experience with relevant automation frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Automation Framework Development & Maintenance : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable mobile automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber for both native mobile applications (iOS and Android) and mobile browsers.

- Test Script Development & Execution : Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications and browsers, covering various functionalities including UI, API, and performance testing.

- Cross-Platform Testing : Utilize BrowserStack for cross-platform and cross-device testing to ensure consistent performance and functionality across different mobile environments.

- API Testing : Implement API automation using Rest Assured with Java to validate backend functionality and data integrity.

- UI Automation Testing : Perform comprehensive UI automation testing for mobile applications to ensure a seamless user experience.

- Test Coverage & Analysis : Analyze requirements and user stories to determine appropriate test coverage and develop test plans. Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and perform root cause analysis.

- Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely release of high-quality products. Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Code Reviews & Mentorship : Lead code reviews for other automation engineers, providing constructive feedback and promoting best practices. Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.

- Version Control & Issue Tracking : Manage version control using Bitbucket/Git and track issues using JIRA. Maintain clear and concise documentation for test cases, automation scripts, and test results.

- Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify areas for improvement in the testing process and contribute to the development of new testing strategies and tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile automation testing.

Required Skills :

- Mobile Automation Expertise : Proven hands-on experience in mobile automation testing for both native iOS and Android applications.

- Programming Proficiency : Strong proficiency in Java for automation script development.

- Framework & Tool Expertise : Expertise in mobile automation frameworks such as Appium and Selenium.

- Experience with API testing tools like Rest Assured.

- Familiarity with TestNG and Cucumber.

- Cross-Platform Testing Tools : Experience with cloud-based cross-platform testing platforms like BrowserStack.

- Testing Methodologies : Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile testing principles.

- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively debug and troubleshoot issues.

- Communication & Collaboration : Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Version Control & Issue Tracking : Experience with version control systems (Bitbucket/Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA).

- API Testing Knowledge : Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with performance testing tools for mobile applications.

- Knowledge of mobile application development lifecycle.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with other scripting languages (e.g, Python, JavaScript)
