Responsibilities :

Following are the day-to-day work activities :

- ETL Development : Design and develop ETL projects using DataStage/CP4D, including strategic architecture, design, and implementation.

- Data Warehouse Management : Work within data warehouse environments, handling data design, database architecture, metadata management, data translation, and the creation of diverse data repositories.

- Integration Development : Analyze architectural blueprints to design and build integration flows leveraging DataStage/CP4D, including REST services and API calls.

- Documentation : Oversee the creation and approval of technical documentation such as Solution Definition Documents and Technical Design Documents.

- ETL Expertise : Provide expert-level guidance on ETL design, development, performance optimization, and administrative support.

- Data Source Integration : Support and fine-tune connections with data sources like DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, and other RDBMS systems.

- Complex Process Optimization : Work independently to optimize complex processes and modules that support various systems, programs, or infrastructure components.

- Change Management : Implement changes under standard change management processes and coordinate with extended teams to resolve configuration or deployment issues.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate as part of various product teams within a single organizational umbrella to achieve shared goals.

- Production Support : Work with production support teams to monitor and address daily job incidents/problems, providing timely fixes and solutions.

Requirements :

- Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed.

The must have requirements are :

- Proficiency in IBM DataStage and CP4D platforms.

- Strong understanding of data warehouse environments, ETL processes, and integration flows.

- Experience with REST services, API integration, and RDBMS systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).

- Expertise in creating and managing technical documentation.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data integration issues effectively.

- Strong independent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize complex processes.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Experience in direct customer communication.

- Good debugging and error solving skills.

- Must have good communication skills.

- Help to develop standard for best practice and maintain documentation.

- Experience in Agile Scrum methodology.

- Should have worked in Global Delivery Model.

- Provide technical leadership to Dev Team.

- Understand product vision and expectation on technical solution architecture.

- Assist in overall application architecture and solutioning.

- Provide high level and detailed design guidelines to development.

- Code review and ensure application code is developed as per the defined architecture standards.

- Contribute to Sprint and Release deployments.
