Automation Test Lead

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Automation and Manual Tester with over 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both manual testing and automation testing. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Perform both manual and automated testing to identify, report, and track defects. Collaborate with the development team to understand the software features and architecture. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter. Implement and execute automated regression tests to ensure software stability. Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks. Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure software quality. Validate that user requirements are met and that the software functions as expected. Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA . Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes. Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA leads. Provide clear and concise feedback on testing progress and quality metrics. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both automation and manual testing. Proficiency in using automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Preferred Skills: Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo. Knowledge of performance testing and tools such as JMeter. Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript, or Groovy.
