Power BI Lead

Role & responsibilities

Strong proficiency in Power BI, SSRS and report authoring (Including DAX).

• Experience in data integration and ETL processes.
• Proven track record of successfully migrating reports to Power BI.
• Solid understanding and experience of SQL and other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in building semantic models in Power BI.
• Experience with data lake houses and data integration (Databricks).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:
• Lead the VL BI team in improving, streamlining, and migrating current Power BI and SSRS reports into Power BI.
• Oversee the development of semantic models in Power BI.
• Coordinate with the data team to leverage data from the Gold layer of a data lake house.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet business requirements.
• Mentor and guide team members on BI best practices and technical skills.
• Monitor and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the BI team.
