Senior Executive Legal

Role & responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating contracts
• Provide legal advice to all internal stakeholders and document the business arrangement in the form of contracts and other legal documentation.
• Support the stakeholders and internal teams by coordinating the legal compliance activities needed such as drafting and reviewing various undertakings, certificates, bonds, etc. Do a risk analysis and prepare queries to internal stakeholders as a part of risk identification.
• Identify and address issues of legal and compliance risks in the organization.
• Support the Legal Director in preparing contracts, letters, and other documents related to legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
• Support the Legal Director on litigation including ensuring proper representation by external counsel (while securing case reporting and strategic alignment).
• Report (and interpret/enforce) court or government authority/agency decisions, statutes, and governmental regulations and advise the Legal Director on pending developments in these areas

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters degree in law with a relevant track record of legal undertakings 3-5 Years of Work experience with a masters degree in law is preferred.

• Knowledge of business and commercial laws, Arbitration laws, and Data Protection laws. Should be interested in learning and understanding business-related regulations.

• Relevant & proven experience in contract negotiation and drafting and compliance.

• Proven track record of providing accurate and effective legal counsel
