Role & responsibilities

Shall be responsible for adherence to laws and regulations applicable to chemical manufacturing company including Factories Act, Pollution Control Board, FDA etc. Must drive the responsible are independently as well as along with TEAM

• Liaisoning with Government Departments (MPCB/DISH/MIDC/POLICE/FDA)
• Building and maintaining relationships with the concerned department/officials and other peers in the industry.
• Engage with the respective regulatory authorities for permissions, licences and approvals.
• Oversee communications and co-ordinate government offices, ensuring all licenses/approvals (including renewals) required for the Factory/Office are in place, Auditing of legal/licenses requirements of the Organization.
• vetting, drafting of legal & commercial documents/Agreements applicable to the Organization.
• Handling litigation matters on Labour, commercial matters etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Law graduate with 2-6 years of post-qualification legal experience in the corporate/commercial practice areas (litigation experience would also be a plus)
• Well versed with good practical working knowledge of the laws including court matters litigation matters.
• Should have good understanding of laws applicable to manufacturing and chemical companies e.g. (Environment and Pollution Laws, Factories Act, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, MIDC Regulations etc.
• Experience in litigation and in handling legal cases would be an added benefit.
• Should know Hindi, English and Marathi languages.
