Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing (2-5 yrs)

Role Description :

- This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer in Test at ValueSoft Info Services Pvt Ltd located in Bengaluru.

- The Software Engineer in Test will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with software development, testing, and ensuring the quality of software products.

What are my responsibilities ?

- You will become part of an internationally distributed software development team.

- You will be working closely with our Front-end & Back-end software engineers as well as with our UX/UI designers.

- You will be performing manual testing of our desktop-based application.

- You will be defining test cases.

- You will be automating the test cases and therefore improving the automatic test coverage of our application.

- You will be maintaining the test documentation.

What You Bring ?

- Good written and spoken English skills.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.

- Prior experience in testing Qt/QML based applications is a plus.

- Prior experience with Squish or similar tools like WebDriverIO or Selenium.

- Knowledge of JavaScript and Python.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g , Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g , JIRA).

- Having an interdisciplinary, analytical and structured way of thinking.

- Ability to communicate confidently in an international and multicultural environment.
