L2-L3 Support Specialist (Windows, VMware, Microsoft Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint, O365, Network, New Projects) - Work from Office - Bengaluru


Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced support for Windows, Sharepoint, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, O365 and network-related issues and will play a critical role in new IT projects. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and other related technologies.
  • Provide L2 support for Windows Server, addressing complex technical issues and ensuring system stability.
  • Manage and support VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • Provide L2 support for VMware environments, addressing complex technical issues and ensuring system stability.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Manage and maintain Dell server and storage environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Provide L2 support for Dell servers and storage systems, addressing complex technical issues and ensuring system stability.
  • Manage and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
  • Manage and maintain the Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard Office 365 environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 services and applications.
  • Provide support and training to end users on Office 365 features and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and usage, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Office 365 migrations, upgrades, and new implementations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Office 365 configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure Office 365 environments are efficient and secure.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to support the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in new IT projects, contributing to planning, design, implementation, and support phases.
  • Collaborate with L1 support teams to resolve complex technical issues escalated from end users.
  • Ensure all systems comply with company policies and industry standards for security and performance.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
  • Provide on-call support as needed for critical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in L2 support roles, with a strong focus on Windows, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint and network technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware products, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • Proficient in network troubleshooting and configuration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices is a plus.
