Job Summary
The Regional Head - working capitals will be responsible for overseeing and driving the regional strategy for the working capital segment, targeting mid-sized corporate clients within the assigned region. The role requires strong leadership to manage a team of relationship managers, a deep understanding of corporate banking products, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships with local corporates. The Regional Head will be tasked with achieving regional business targets, managing risk, and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Develop and implement a regional strategy to grow the Emerging Local Corporates portfolio.
- Identify growth opportunities within the ELC segment by understanding market trends and competitor dynamics.
- Lead initiatives to expand the bank's client base and capture a greater share of the market in the region.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Oversee the account management process, ensuring clients receive tailored financial solutions that meet their evolving needs.
- Act as a key point of contact for high-value ELC clients, addressing escalations and complex client requirements.
3. Team Management
- Lead and motivate a team of relationship managers, providing guidance and support to meet their performance goals.
- Develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team in handling complex corporate client requirements.
- Set KPIs and performance targets for the team, conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure that all business activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank's internal risk policies.
- Monitor the quality of the loan portfolio, keeping non-performing assets within acceptable limits.
- Maintain robust processes to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with client relationships and regional operations.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on regional performance metrics, analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide senior management with regular updates on portfolio growth, profitability, and risk profile.
- Develop forecasts and budget projections to ensure regional targets are met or exceeded.
