Understand the scope of the multiple projects of MEP Services before implementation. Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;
Preparation of Project Schedule and Material Schedule. Timely raising of material Request. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Expedite all shop drawings and approvals. Sample approvals in co-ordination with purchase team. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
To assist and monitor adherence to expected quality standards and timelines stipulated for any given projects in terms of quality, finishing and timely completion. Make sure 100% quality is achieved.
Inform the Consultant/client of any errors, discrepancies or omissions contained within the Consultant design drawings. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
Any NT items being operated, to be informed to QS team, with specification and quantity. Execution to be taken up only after the confirmed approvals.
Monitor site safety and ensure that requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced. safety measures include trainings being done at site
Ensure that As built” drawings are prepared on an ongoing basis, final close outs to Consultant accordingly.
Follow standard waste management procedures
Interact with client & their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors) and our vendors for smooth operations of the project. Conduct weekly meetings with contractors, before the Clients review meeting. Prior to that a mail has to be sent out to clients, highlighting the hindrances and project progress. Arbitrate and resolve conflict and interface problems within the project.
Track and report on progress to plan. Analyse the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives. Keep all the team members informed of progress and issues. Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities & delegate to the team
Maintain all required documents at site. Preparing reports as required by the AGM / GM, in the prescribed formats
To prepare the snag list before the project hand over and supervise its completion till project hand over. Take sign off for completion of project and handover the keys.
Cross verification of available stock at the stores on a weekly basis
Provide detailed information / support to the QS team when they are taking measurements for our outward billing or for certifying contractors / vendors billing.
Highlight to the QS teams about any deduction / debits to contractors’ accounts
