Mep Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning:

• Develop MEP system designs, layouts, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring compatibility with MEP systems.
• Coordinate MEP designs with structural, architectural, and other disciplines.

Project Execution & Supervision:

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Coordination & Communication:

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure material quality and availability.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on MEP activities.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure MEP installations comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify defects.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.

Cost Management & Optimization:

• Monitor project budgets related to MEP works and control unnecessary expenditures.
• Suggest energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions for MEP systems.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate materials and equipment for projects.
