Evaluate and Strengthen Policies for Indigenous Cultural Preservation:
Examine existing policies related to Indigenous traditions, governance, and knowledge systems, ensuring they align with community aspirations and support cultural sovereignty.
2. Collaborate with Government and Institutions for Effective Implementation:
Work with government bodies, local administrations, and community organizations to improve policy execution, secure necessary resources, and integrate Indigenous perspectives into development planning.
3. Ensure Community Leadership in Policy Processes:
Facilitate active participation of Indigenous communities in policy discussions, decision-making platforms, and cultural initiatives to address gaps and shape frameworks that reflect their needs and priorities.
Honorarium: INR 66,000 78,000 per month (based on experience and expertise).
Qualification:
Master s degree in Anthropology, Sociology, or Public Policy, with 4-5years of experience in policy informing or community mobilization related to indigenous issues.
