Mechanical Principal Engineer/Deputy Chief Engineer

This position serves as a team leader for mechanical design engineers

• Provide information (e.g., man-hours expended and actual issue dates) to project management and project controls
• Manage mechanical work activities (e.g., assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality)
• Performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phases of projects
• Provide mechanical services HVAC expertise and leadership
• Deliver design services and advice to a broad range of clients and industry sectors (Commercial, Retail, Health, Defence)
• Support the design, development, testing and documentation of directed energy weapons (DEW)
• Use 3D CAD software to design mechanical enclosures and related components for the development and integration of DEW systems
• Mentor and lead junior engineers and technicians
• Candidate to have experience developing, reviewing and checking of water treatment systems for fossil power plants.
