Job Responsibilities

As an EDR Support Engineer, you will play a key role in securing the organizations endpoints by implementing and supporting endpoint security solutions, troubleshooting security incidents, optimizing security policies, and ensuring overall endpoint protection. You will work closely with IT and security teams to integrate, monitor, and improve the security of endpoint devices, contributing to a safer and more resilient IT environment.

Responsibilities

Endpoint Security Implementation:

• Lead the implementation and deployment of endpoint security solutions across the organization.
• Configure and tune endpoint security agents and consoles according to best practices and security standards.
• Integrate endpoint security solutions with other security tools and systems (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, firewalls).
• Develop and maintain documentation for all implementation and configuration activities.

Endpoint Security Support:

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for endpoint security issues.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents related to endpoint devices.
• Monitor endpoint security performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Regularly review SentinelOne agents update to ensure the latest version
• Optimize threat detection policies based on evolving risks
• Review policies to minimize false positives and ensure operational efficiency
• Configure exclusions, whitelist trusted applications, and update security rules as needed

Periodic Reports:

• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing detected threats, re sponses, and overall security trends

Insights and Recommendations and support:

• Provide actionable insights to improve the organization’s security posture
• Highlight areas requiring additional focus or resources
• Work closely with the organization’s IT and security teams to address endpoint security issues
• Perform periodic health checks of the SentinelOne environment
• Ensure management console and agents operate optimally
• Address technical issues promptly to minimize downtime

Security Assessments & Audits:

• Participate in security assessments and audits related to endpoint security.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years professional experience managing and maintaining EDR Solutions/Platforms.
• Proven experience with EDR platforms (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender, etc.) and supporting multi-OS environments (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Strong understanding of endpoint security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with incident response processes and methodologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate security tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
