Raw Material Procurement Officer (Female Candidate)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced female candidate (from Steel Industry) to join our procurement team as a Raw Material Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing raw materials for our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source and procure raw materials.

2. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of raw materials.

4. Analyze market trends, prices, and availability of raw materials to inform procurement decisions.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

7. Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

2. At least 8-12 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

3. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

6. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and procurement software.

7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.

2. Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
