Job Summary:
The SAP FICO Support & Implementation Specialist will play a key role in supporting and implementing SAP Financial Accounting (FICO) modules in the steel manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for SAP FICO operations, optimizing processes, and driving the successful implementation of SAP solutions. This includes both the support of existing configurations and the design, testing, and deployment of new systems or upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP FICO Implementation:
• Lead the full cycle of SAP FICO implementation from requirement gathering to post-implementation support in the steel manufacturing environment.
• Design and configure SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules based on business requirements.
• Develop and execute test scripts, manage system testing, and assist in the user acceptance testing process.
• Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems used in the manufacturing process.

1. SAP FICO Support:
• Provide ongoing technical support for SAP FICO users, troubleshooting issues and resolving system errors.
• Conduct root cause analysis of any system issues and apply corrective actions for financial accounting and controlling functionalities.
• Perform periodic checks on the SAP system, reviewing configuration and process flows to ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide training to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and enhance user knowledge for efficient system utilization.

1. System Configuration & Optimization:
• Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders (IO).
• Implement process improvements to enhance system functionality and reporting within the SAP FICO environment.
• Maintain and update the system as per the latest business requirements and best practices in the steel industry.

1. Data Migration & Integration:
• Assist with data migration activities, ensuring smooth transfer of financial data into the SAP system.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper integration with SAP modules like SAP MM (Material Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP PP (Production Planning).

1. Reporting & Analysis:
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Support the creation of customized reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators relevant to the steel manufacturing business.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial statements.

1. Documentation & Compliance:
• Develop and maintain documentation for all implemented SAP FICO processes, configurations, and user procedures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and auditing standards within the SAP system.
• Ensure all changes and implementations align with both corporate governance and industry standards.

1. Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with the IT team, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements, provide feedback, and suggest process improvements.
• Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and support of SAP FICO.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support within the manufacturing or steel industry.
• Experience in SAP FICO configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Proven track record of supporting and optimizing SAP FICO systems post-implementation.
• Familiarity with financial processes and standards in the steel manufacturing industry.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP reporting tools, such as SAP Fiori, SAP BW, or other relevant BI tools.
• Experience in SAP ECC 6.0, SAP S/4HANA, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of ABAP for troubleshooting and supporting customizations (optional).

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori-based applications.
• Ability to lead workshops and training sessions for users.
