Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Establish and maintain RACI between engineering teams, and custom stake holders 
• Lead and coordinate source code migration efforts, ensuring minimal downtime and no data loss.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and ensuring milestones are met.
• Identify and ensure program KPIs are tracked continuously 
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

Agile Leadership:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure efficient backlog grooming and refinement processes, collaborating with Product Owners to prioritize user stories and epics.
• Monitor team velocity and support continuous improvement practices.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Partner with technical teams to understand source code migration requirements, dependencies, and constraints.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration post-migration.
• Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.

Technical Oversight:

• Review and understand source code repository structures and assist in planning migration strategies (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure technical solutions align with project goals.
• Oversee post-migration validation to ensure code integrity, functionality, and performance.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects, preferably in software development or enterprise migrations.
• Proven experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Hands-on experience with backlog refinement, user story creation, and prioritization.
• Familiarity with Source Code management tools, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
• Experience with source code migration between platforms.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and coding standards.
